Adam is son-in-law to Paul and has taken on the role as Managing Director following Robert’s passing.
Adam began his career in catering straight from school and worked his way through the ranks to management and wedding co-ordinator at the Oxwich Bay Hotel.
A semi career break saw an 18year old Adam back pack around Thailand and New Zealand with a group of friends. They funded their trip by working where they could find hours, Adam put his management skills to work in New Zealand where he managed a chain of 3 local bars with great success and fond memories.
Back home Adam had no difficulty in securing work managing a chain of restaurants and pubs once again where he also began an accounting qualification to take on staff wages. It was during this time at 26yrs old Adam met his wife to be, Paul’s daughter. Paul was quick to notice Adam’s commitment to work despite the unsociable hours that go hand in hand with the restaurant/pub trade, mention was passed Paul would like a few additional staff with Adam’s mindset and so the seed was planted... as settling down and looking for a more ‘normal’ work/life balance became a new priority Adam decided the offer was too good pass on.
Fortunately Adam soon found environmental science was an area of work he would get a great deal of job satisfaction from and he quickly developed and thirst for further knowledge in the areas he began training in.
Adam is now a Associate with the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (FOH) Membership & Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management (FAAM) Membership.
